1. Juelz Santana – “Sho Nuff”
Judging off this NYC-bred banger, Juelz’ upcoming project will rep the Big Apple to the fullest. When he drops the line, “I’m from grimey ass New York,” you actually believe that Harlem confidence through the speakers.
2. Cam’Ron – “Murder Game”
This sounds like a few of his past joints, but that’s actually not too much of a problem when it comes to Cam. Overall, “Murder Game” is a solid street cut.
3. 2 Pistols (feat. French Montana & Talib Kweli) – “All I Know”
Talib adds a different element to this version, which ultimately makes it stand out.
4. Parker – “So Beautiful”
Nicki Minaj may have picked a winner with Parker—one of the newest signees to her record label. The Brit singer mixes elements of soul, reggae, and urban pop to deliver a smooth track. Not bad at all, sir.
5. Jonn Hart (feat. E-40) – “Who Booty (Remix)”
Not too sure if anything was accomplished by replacing French Montana with E-40 on this version—especially since nothing else was tweaked—but 40’s flow is always fun to listen to.
