VIBE’s Morning Additions to the ‘Pod
1. Ne-Yo – “Forever Now”
This is the lastest drop from Ne-Yo’s forthcoming album R.E.D.. Check for that in stores on November 6th.
2. Curren$y & Corner Boy P – “Amsterdam Freestyle”
No clue on whether this freestyle will appear on Jet World Order 2—in stores November 20th—but it’s always good to hear some new Spitta.
3. Ester Dean – “I Can’t Make You Love Me”
Interesting choice for a first single. This Bonnie Raitt remake will appear on Dean’s debut studio album Story Never Told.
4. Max B – “Keep Your Head To The Sky”
Fun Fact: This started off as a reference track, and was originally done for Diddy for the Biggie: Duets album. However, the beat was sold to LA Reid & it became Christina Milian’s single “Say I.” Isn’t insider music trivia fun?
5. Ray J – “Heaven in my Bed”
We guess Brandy couldn’t be the only Norwood dropping new music this week. This will be the first single from Ray J’s fifth album, Raydiation 2.
6. Tomeka Williams – “Ho”
Shoutout to Sir Mix A Lot on the production side of this one. This is a nice blend of R&B-meets-country/alternative.
