dance4life plays a major role in young people’s lives worldwide through youth empowerment programs established in almost 30 countries. With its stateside expansion the organization hopes to educate the youth of America and inspire change. Approximately 1.2 million people in the United States live with HIV with a total of 33.4 million people worldwide. Young people account for 40 percent of new infections across the globe and around fifty thousand people are newly infected each year in the United States. dance4life empowers young people to take action to push back HIV and AIDS with a four step program: inspire, educate, activate and celebrate.
