
Electronic dance music (EDM) ruled this year’s Lollapalooza (August 3-5), arguably the most famed rock-oriented themed festivals. As mainstream recognition for electronic dance and electric rock grows, it damn near hewed the competition in popularity ever since Daft Punk’s grand inclusion on the bill in 2007. Cut to 2012 and EDM artists headlined the event with hour-long finale sets, including the thrash-tastic rivalry set times between Justice and Kaskade on Saturday night.
