Vic Mensa doesn’t talk much about foolishness. Nor does he flood his SoundCloud with new songs everyday. But when he delivers, his work more often than not hits the mark — and spreads words the world’s youth needs to hear. With that being said, the Chicago native has been quietly working on his follow-up to 2013’s INNANETAPE, and today (June 3), it has arrived.
There’s Aot Going On, a seven-track project featuring the lead single, “Danger,” is produced by Papi Beatz. And the only guest is Ty Dolla $ign on “Liquor Locker.” It comes in partnership with the Respect My Vote! campaign. Vic has taken on the role of being a 2016 Respect My Vote! spokesperson in partnership with Hip Hop Caucus, to inspire young people to vote this November.
The powerful songs will definitely have fans impatiently waiting for long-awaited Traffic project.
