Earlier in the week, Gucci Mane sat down with Hot 97 to talk about his new album, prison time, and Waka Flocka. In the interview, Guwop claims that he hasn’t spoken with Waka in three years and doesn’t plan on working with him in the future.
“It’s just done. I wish him well,” said Gucci. “I’m so concerned with the stuff I got going, I just did two albums in three months. I’m just trying to keep focused on what I got going. I can’t be thinking about that.”
Waka responded on Twitter earlier Saturday (Sept. 24) morning, and from his perceptive, Gucci’s claims aren’t accurate. “Just seen that interview,” he tweeted. “N*ggas was begging the kid to come to his party but 3 yrs…I’m bool.”
Even with the “no shade” disclaimer and a quick album promo (Flakavelli 2 is coming this winter), Waka caught some hatred for the tweet, so he clapped back.
“Why when a n*gga keep sh*t gangsta he gotta be a hater,” he wrote. “I did over 250 shows this year #whyHate all #Facts.”
