Chi-Town’s favorite problem child, Chief Keef, is currently serving time behind bars for violating his probation.
His manager Dro Manuel recently spoke to the Best of Both Offices about his 17-year-old client’s two-month sentencing. In the interview, Manuel opens up to the blog about Keef’s image, calling his jail time a “wake up” call and reaffirms rumors that if the Finally Rich rapper doesn’t sell 250,000 copies of his debut album, Interscope can drop him from the label.
“I think he’s gonna come out a different person,” he explained. “I think he’s gonna come out with some new music, a new attitude … he’s gonna get out and do some shows, and hopefully go up the charts, and shoot the video for “Hate Being Sober.”
Manuel also mentions that Keef’s crew, GBE is finished with their compilation album and is currently negotiating with the label on a release date.
