WWE wrestling fans came out to see a fight on Monday night (March 31), but they weren’t expecting to catch a brawl between rapper Wale and a heckler in the audience. At Raw, the D.C. native was pushed to his limits in and ended up in a fist fight with someone who threatened him on Twitter.

Wale recently spoke to MTV News about the confrontation. “One thing lead to another, and I just kind of mushed him a little bit,” he explained. “Honestly, if there wasn’t kids right there, it would have went a little bit differently, but I just wanted to be conscious of them. It’s not to say it was the right decision. But in the moment, you know.” Eyewitness Jawn Murray from AlwaysAlist.com also told TMZ who says The Gifted MC was sitting right behind the announcers, enjoying the show when some fan seated nearby began taunting the rapper. Murray says Wale eventually got up out of his seat and “the next thing I know Wale is putting the smackdown on dude. Punched him dead in his face. It was a full fight.” This isn’t the first time the MMG signee has reacted out loud. After finding out that he wasn’t listed in one of Complex’s Best of 2013 lists, he dialed up its writers and spit threats. “I care what people say because I try to be a man of the people,” Wale said.
