Despite missing out on the MLB playoffs, the Washington Nationals do have something to cheer for. They’ve got a new manager in Dusty Baker and of course, they have arguably the best player in the National League in Bryce Harper.
The 23-year-old D.C. outfielder is the youngest in National League history to win the MVP award and DC’s favorite rapping sports fan knows it. Thanks to production from Cheese Beatz, Wale gets to step up to the plate with “MVP (Bryce Harper)”.
In true Folarin fashion, Wale takes the duration of “MVP (Bryce Harper)” to run through a gamut of baseball and D.C. sports punchlines including referencing Max Scherzer’s perfect game and Baker’s arrival to DC.
Wale’s supposedly planning to release a sequel to last year’s Christmas/Seinfeld themed project, so be on the look out for that. Until then, hear him stand up for Number 34 on “MVP (Bryce Harper),” produced by Cheese Beatz now.
