
If you’re a West Coast hip-hop fan, Friday should feel like a holiday to you. Not only is Dr. Dre releasing his first album in 16 years with Compton: A Soundtrack but Warren G is dropping Regulate … G Funk Era II, a sequel to his 1994 classic Def Jam debut album.
Two of the tracks from Warren’s upcoming album feature guest vocals from none other than the late Nate Dogg and the pair prove their connection is timeless on “Keep On Hustlin” featuring Jeezy & Bun B.

The subject matter about staying on your grind is nothing new for all parties but it’s sort of bittersweet. Nate Dogg crooning to the tune of Soul II Soul’s “Keep On Moving” just makes you reminisce on when he reigned as the greatest hook man in hip-hop history. “Them niggas know they can’t fuck with Warren G & Nate!” Warren proclaims on his lead verse.
