It’s been one year since the tragic death of the late Atlanta emcee, Bankroll Fresh. With his loss came a huge void in the Atlanta hip-hop world that has yet to be filled.
To remind us that he was on the his way to become one of rap’s shining stars from the south comes the release of his posthumous video for the track, “M.O.B.” The grainy, black and white visuals show archival footage the late Fresh performing on the road and living it up with his friends. Unlike similar posthumous videos, the flicks features the A-Town trapper spittin’ as if the song and visuals were ready to be dropped prior to his death. There are also some solid cameos from his comrades Young Jeezy, 2 Chainz, Young Dolph, and more.
This banger comes after the reveal of the cover art for Bankroll’s forthcoming album, In Bank We Trust, which will be released everywhere on April 24.
In the midst of the anniversary of the unfortunate loss of Atlanta rapper Bankroll Fresh, Scotty ATL also released a new anthem for the trap with a verse from late lyricist — “Thinking Bout A Check.” The song was reportedly released to commemorate and to pay homage to Fresh and his contributions to Atlanta Hip-Hop.
The two ATLiens trade some solid money bars over JayeLL’s brooding, yet melodic production. Bankroll shines the brightest on the track as he delivers a memorable and passionate performance about his desire to earn big money along with the rewards and haters that comes with it.
