It looks like Whitney Houston’s life will be memorialized again on screen. According to BBC Two, filmmaker Nick Broomfield (Kurt & Courtney) will direct a documentary titled Whitney, which comes off the heels of Lifetime’s movie on the late vocalist which premiered in 2015.
The doc will focus on Houston’s legacy four years after her untimely death. Per the website, Broomfield will depict “the forces that made and then destroyed the singer who has been described as having one of the greatest voices of the last 50 years.”
There’s minimal details on the production of the film and when the release date will be revealed, but it sounds like it’ll show a different side of the “I Will Always Love You” artist.
