Whitney Houston’s first live performance album has finally received a release date.
Whitney Houston Live: Her Greatest Performances will drop on Nov. 10, AP reports. The 16-track CD features the late singer’s stellar renditions of “The Star-Spangled Banner” from Super Bowl XXV in 1991, “How Will I Know” at the Brit Awards in 1987 and “My Love Is Your Love” at the Late Show With David Letterman in 1998.
Clive Davis, a longtime mentor of Houston, led the detailed process of the album. In a recent interview, Davis said, “(It) shows why she is at the absolute historic top rank up there with Aretha Franklin and Barbra Streisand as the greatest singers of our lifetime. It really has been a labor of love on my part to go through every concert performance, every TV appearance.”
The album will also feature a DVD fully equipped with 18 live performances of Houston’s most popular songs.
