Wiz Khalifa and Currensy have finally dropped their long-awaited album, 2009. The 14-track project dropped on Friday (Feb. 8), nearly four years after it was originally announced.
The album features two guest appearances from Ty Dolla $ign and Problem. It also includes production from Harry Fraud, DJ Fresh, and Cardo.
In support of the new album, Wiz and Currensy announced a joining tour, which kicks off today (Feb. 8) in Seattle. It will hit major cities including Chicago, Detroit, and New Orleans before concluding in San Antonio on Mar. 4. The two are also slated to make an appearance at the Rolling Loud Miami festival in May 2019.
2009 is a follow-up to Wiz and Currensy’s 2013 Live in Concert EP. It also follows their full-length collaboration, How Fly, which was ironically released in 2009.
