Wiz Khalifa is finally setting the record straight about his epic Twitter squabble with Kanye West. Featured in the April issue of GQ, the Pittsburgh native briefly explained he didn’t apologize to West. From Wiz yelling out “F–k Kanye” at a concert in Argentina to West taking a merciless shot at his son Sebastian with Amber Rose,—things got complicated.
As journalist Zach Baron probed him about the public war of words, Wiz was reluctant to talk about the matter. When asked if he regretted starting the beef with Kanye, he simply asked: “Why would I?”
After the fiasco, the TLOP rapper called Wiz to make amends, Khalifa described his tone in that conversation to be short: “Nah. I keep s–t brief. Butfor him, it’s no animosity, so it ain’t even no thing,” he said. But notes he indeed did not apologize, because he has “nothing to apologize for.”
Essentially for Wiz, the beef is now a thing of the past, “it’s done and over with, so it don’t even matter,” he concluded.
