Wiz Khalifa may not have won a Golden Globe for his hit tribute song, “See You Again,’ but that won’t seem to deter him from making new music. In fact, the rapper revealed on the award show’s red carpet that he will be coming out with his latest project, Khalifa, really soon.
Wiz has been teasing fans with Khalifa as well as a number of other mixtapes and projects for the past couple of months, but it looks like the wait is just about over. On the red carpet, Wiz revealed that by soon, he means Jan. 22.
In December, Wiz promised fans that the album would feature unreleased music and his collaboration with Travis Scott, “Bake Sale.” He also previewed some the two working in the studio, but as far as what the rest of the album will sound like or who will feature on it, has yet to be revealed.
While we’re sitting patiently through those two weeks until Khalifa drops, check out his short interview on the red carpet at the Golden Globes below.
