It’s no secret that YG and Tekashi 6ix9ine have major beef. Over the past couple of months, the two have thrown jabs at each other through social media and various media interviews. But now, YG is taking it a step further with the release of his new music video, “Bulletproof,” which dropped on Friday (Sept. 14).
In the 3-minute video, which also features a verse from Jay 305, YG depicts the controversial rapper going to prison for charges related to his child sex case. There, Tekashi is branded a pedophile and gets to see firsthand what happens to people like him.
The video then cuts to YG and his posse thuggin’ it out in what appears to be a car lot. “Hop in the coupe, subtract the roof like what it do? /Heard you don’t like me, well nigga fuck you too / Heard you tryna wife her up, I’m tryna pipe her loose,” he raps on the chorus. “All my n***as got stripes (rah!), sabertooth / Big Ps, Big Bs, nigga suu whoop / (Brr, brr) Hello? What it Ru? / 900 block, back down to the deuce/ I’m the man, bitch I walk ’round like I’m bulletproof.”
As previously noted, YG and Tekashi 6ix9ine have engaged in a war of words throughout the year. Prior to the video, YG also spoke on 6ix9ine’s delinquent past. After reports claimed the Tekashi may have to serve time in prison in relation to his child sex case, YG took to social media where he said: “Go to jail and get your d**k sucked. Pedophile a** child molester.”
“Bulletproof” is from YG’s recently-released album Stay Dangerous. Its visuals follow behind those for ‘Big Bank.” Check out the video for “Bulletproof” above.
