Grammy week kicked off Monday (Feb. 2) with the Grammy Museum’s newest exhibit, an unveiling of All Eyez on Me: The Writings of Tupac Shakur. Working alongside Tupac’s estate, the exhibit showcases the Grammy nominated artist’s love for words including some of his handwritten notes and poems, the original tape box and studio notes from Pac’s first recording after his prison release as well as interviews and performance footage. YG, Chuck D, John Singleton, and Paul Rodriguez moderated a panel during the exhibit to discuss Tupac’s lasting influence and afterwards, the My Krazy Life emcee got a chance to speak with Afeni Shakur. Like most ‘Pac fans, was honored. The Compton native took to his Instagram to talk in detail about his meeting with Afeni Shakur and his love for her son.
