While YG is on the road for the final leg of J. Cole’s “Forest Hills Drive Tour”, the Bompton native sat down with Sway’s Universe to discuss his new tunes, tourbus life, and the day he was shot in his native city.

The “Twist My Fingaz” rapper went into vivid detail about that near fatal incident, stating, “Dude was poppin’ up. So it [the bullet] went up, it went in, it went out and went back in right around here.” From that happening, YG said he learned to, “Just tighten up and watch who’s around you… All your homies ain’t your homies…It was definitely some inside sh*t.”

He later shared the ins and outs of his tricked out tour bus, from the contents in the fridge to his A-1 mobile studio, and touched on new music.
