Yo Gotti is set to drop his long-awaited album, The Art of Hustle (Epic) on Feb. 19th. After recently getting remixes of his number 1 hit “Down In the DM” from Nicki Minaj, he recently dropped another new track.
With his fellow Memphis native K. Michelle, the CMG boss is back with a soulful rap ballad titled “My City.”
With nothing more than guitar strings crying out for attention, Gotti paints a vivid, painful and unfortunate pictures of the violence, poverty and drugs that plague his home city.
This is the most personal record we’ve heard thus far from The Art of Hustle. Also, peep the nod to Jay Z at the beginning of the track.
