Last December, Yo Gotti dropped off his White Friday (CM9) mixtape which featured a handful of gems — including “Lifestyle” featuring LunchMoney Lewis. Two months later, the Roc Nation signee continues to fuel the hype around the project with an eerie video for the standout record produced by Ben Billions. On the spiritual song, Gotti claims “Jesus from the ghetto, n*gga, so am I” — and he shows us how Jesus of the ghetto really lives in the video directed by Kid Art.
The video starts out with an ominous birth of a baby in the projects, supervised by the hood’s go-to nun. Meanwhile, Gotti cruises the streets in his foreign ride as he rocks a flashy fur coat, diamond plated watch, and his new Roc chain while little Jesus of the ghetto grows up in the streets the way Gotti did — minus all the materialistic riches. Some say the video gives off a slightly “demonic” aura, but watch it for yourself to see who’s the true God or the real “demon.”
