Recently released from jail, Young Thug gets back to his bag. This week, Jeffery shared his latest video for the Gunna-assisted track, “Dirty Shoes.”
The stormy visual finds the two rappers surrounded by beautiful women as they are forced to stand under thunderstorms. While rapping from inside a box that’s covered in clouds, Thugger is struck by lightning, at one point, and later the ATL native gets electrocuted.
Up next for Thugger, the rapper is preparing for the arrival of his On the Run album. Originally set for a Sept. 11 release, the project was delayed following Thugger’s arrest on the same day. But according to mix engineer Alex Tumay, the delay may have to do with sample clearance issues.
“Turned in mixes before he turned himself in so I could make sure he was happy with it. Clearances take time,” Tumay tweeted on Sept. 12.
Thugger turned himself in to authorities on Sept. 11 after a warrant for his arrest was issued the day before. The Atlanta native was wanted on eight felony counts related to charges of possession and intent to distribute meth, hydrocodone, and weed.
