Young Thug and Metro Boomin are still at odds. The former collaborators who were slated to work on a project with the pseudonym Metro Thuggin continued their war of words on Twitter, which began on Tuesday (Nov. 10).
Initially, Metro who is known for his addictive beats and instrumental creations on various artists’ projects including Future and Migos, tweeted that too many artists are dropping mixtapes similar to Future’s consistent delivery of new tunes.
“Everyday I wake up, new mixtapes are falling out the sky.. I think we all know where the trend came from lol,” Metro wrote.

Spectators assumed that he was referring to Young Thug, but he quickly cleared up that rumor, typing, “You gotta be crazy if you think I subtweeted Thug. That’s corny. People are allowed to believe what they want though. True or not.” Thug didn’t take too kindly to that clarification, and asked Metro who’s he referring to. But their public exchange was then reignited yesterday (Nov. 11), when Metro tweeted at Thugger, “I’m in the city @ the spot right now bra and we know each other in REAL life so u can pull up whenever kuz u know I ain’t no hoe.” Young Thug simply responded with a smiley face emoji.

The “Best Friend” rapper didn’t stop with an emoticon. He added a few comments on top of that response, writing, “@MetroBoomin uma beat the sh*t out u fool…”

There’s no telling where this exchange will lead or if we’ll ever get a full-length project out of the pair.
