Young Thug may have been willing to end his squabble with The Game, but for another certain rapper, the ATLien isn’t ready to bury the hatchet.
The “Hercules” artist had a few choice words for Plies after he got wind of a comment the “Please Excuse My Hands” rapper said in an interview with video interview. The statement made by Plies referred to Thugger as a “lower tier artist” and he even took his sentiments a step further during a sit-down with The Breakfast Club (Feb. 25).
On the morning radio show, Plies spoke on Young Thug’s recent sales for his I’m Up project, which reportedly opened its first week to 10,000 copies. “You got cats who ain’t poppin’ trying to get poppin.’ They just say what they want to say,” he mentioned. “Dog ain’t poppin’ … What he did 10-14,000 records the first week? That’s poppin’?”
Well, Young Thug reacted to the matter on Twitter, beginning his public address with “@plies uma millionaire pu**y boy And I bought my whole family CARS/HOUSES HAVE U LIL NI**A…” In his next tweet, the “Best Friend” rapper stated he has more top charting singles than his contemporary. “@plies go check the numbers pu**y, I got way more HITS then u could ever have…. And u twice my age,” he wrote. “Bag yo old a** up.”
Young Thug and Plies’ social media debate stems back to September after Plies posted a video of Thugger’s daughter stating that she’s “motherf**kin’ tired.” Plies’ hashtag, “bih” was used in reference to the young child, a word that didn’t sit well with Thugger.
He swiftly warned Plies to delete the post, which led them to engage in a war of words on Instagram, but there’s no telling if there’s room for resolve between the two artists in the near future.
