Despite getting arrested at the Slime Language album release party last night, Young Thug managed to deliver his Young Stoner Life Records compilation mixtape, Slime Language.
On the 15-song effort, released just a day after the rapper’s birthday, Thugga allows his artists to shine while also getting verses from the likes of Lil Uzi Vert, Gunna, Lil Baby, Jacquees, Tracy T, Karlae, Nechie, among others.
As we’ve seen, YT has gone back on his word, after claiming that he wouldn’t put out new music in 2018 to honor his deaf brother. Slime Language follows a similar formula as his Hear No Evil EP, released in May and featured Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert and 21 Savage.
Thug is currently on J. Cole’s ‘KOD Tour,’ which started Aug. 9 in Miami, and will land in cities such as Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Detroit, New York, Toronto, Philadelphia and more, before concluding in Boston Oct. 10.
