Young Thug has had his fair share of controversies in 2015, and he sat down with Sway Calloway to speak on some of his high profile feuds and career beginnings for an interview.
First things first, the 24-year-old wants to “slap the sh*t” out of Plies for posting a video calling Thugger’s daughter a rude name.
“I only had a problem with him because he said b**ch … I don’t understand how you can call a little girl the b-word so many times. I might slap the sh*t out the man when I see him,” the Atlanta rapper shared with Sway. Thug also used the opportunity to touch upon his issues with The Game, claiming that he would definitely try to settle their mini-beef through a rap battle.
“I’ll battle with Game. I won’t battle with Plies,” he said. “I’ll make a million songs with Game because we never really had a real problem.”
The “Everyday” rapper also discussed that there isn’t any artist that really influenced his sound or style.
“My brother got locked up, and I always rapped, but when he got locked up that’s when I was like ‘Alright, I wanna rap,’” he explained. “Because he was a rapper. So, when he got locked up it made me wanna rap. Then and now, I don’t really listen to nobody music but mine. ‘Cause I make a lot of music. And if I like being in the clubs or something, that’s when I listen to other people’s music. But I really didn’t pay attention to nobody.” The only artist he said that he really listened to was Lil Wayne.
