Yung Miami of City Girls has spoken out against an alleged diss track towards Cardi B, Kash Doll, Nicki Minaj and model Lira Galore.
On Thursday (Aug 29), an old Facebook Live surfaced of JT and Miami chatting about the aforementioned artists with JT later mumbling a few words on a track about the women calling them “dirty project wh***es.” It isn’t known when the video was done but Galore is the mother of Quality Control CEO Pierre Thomas’s daughter while Cardi is also under Quality Control with the Miami natives.
Yung Miami took to Instagram Live to clear up the very messy situation. The rapper dated the video back to 2017, claiming her and JT were in a car goofing around when they began freestyling. She also claimed that the song isn’t a diss track at all and they never said anything negative about labelmate Cardi B.
“Everybody knows we f**k with Cardi B. What the f**k does JT look like dissing Cardi B? What she said was that she had Love and Hip Hop to help her. That was her platform and we don’t have a platform. If we have to diss anybody that’s what we gonna do. Where is the diss about Cardi B?”
“At the end of the day, Cardi B, QC, we’re all a family,” Miami continued. “We would never go against Cardi B ever. Keep City Girls out of your mouth. We were just playing around and never thought we would have any of this.”
None of the other women mentioned have responded to the noise and it’s most likely they won’t. Kash Doll recently took part in a community baby shower in Michigan, Cardi is enjoying motherhood with Kulture and Minaj is currently winning the #DMXChallenge on social media.
Miami has hinted towards JT being released early from jail as soon as early September.
