Baltimore rapper Damond Blue has big things coming. Having worked with greats like Bun B, Jadakiss and Wale, Blue teamed with VIBE to premiere his latest single “Ride” featuring Moneybagg Yo.
Produced by Boominati’s PyrexTurnMeUp, the hard-hitting 808-based production represents Memphis and Baltimore with Blue’s smooth trap flow and Moneybagg’s slick street talk.
“’Ride’ is a dedication to all the blocks everywhere,” Blue told VIBE. ” I thought Moneybagg had the right vibe for the record, and when he was in The A recently he stopped through my session and the final product came out amazing.”
The track isn’t the only thing Blue and Moneybagg have up their sleeve. Days after recording “Ride,” the two linked in H-Town’s Third Ward to shoot the visual for the single, which is expected to drop sooner than later.
