Today (Mar. 25), VIBE premieres four new tracks from Wise —”R2G,” “When We See You,” “Drop Life,” and “Sad $1’s,”— smooth yet moody joints that paint a clear picture of Wise’s uniqueness, as he cleverly combines introspective, hard knock life-inspired lyrics and menacing yet melodic production that flow in and out of conscious from synths to bando beats.
Largely continuing the same dark and hypnotic sound he delivered on his heralded three-track playlist, this new extension to this prior project further solidifies the rising rapper as one to watch.
