Put Bianca Shaw, the West Side Chicago-bred upstart on your radar. The multi-hyphenate artist—Shaw is a singer, songwriter, rapper and drummer—has started off her 2019 on a high note with the release of video that amply shows off her enviable skill sets.
In the Griffin Olis-directed video for her new single “Bipolar,” Shaw flaunts not only her rapid fire flows and singing voice, but her acting skills. As she things through the spiraling point of a relationship, the warring emotions within her mind come to a head.
For the Tay Bennett Entertainment signee (she was discovered by Taylor Bennett and Chance The Rapper‘s father, Kenneth Bennett), this is only the beginning. “I’m excited to premiere my first official music video with my family at TBE,” Shaw said in a statement. “When I first wrote this song, I was expressing the raw, unfiltered duality between love and hate. Griffin truly brought these emotions to life.”
Press play on the new video up top, and catch up on Shaw’s previous material, such as her appearance on Taylor Bennett’s Be Yourself album, and her previous single, “Can’t Get Enough.”
