Bilal is in the business of using his God given talent to help spread creativity and forward thinking in his music. And, his latest visual experience for “Money Over Love,” featuring Kendrick Lamar, does just that. Instead of starring in the video with K. Dot, he uses a cast of characters to tell an intricate story about the root of all evil — money.
The singer told The Fader this video “brings a new meaning to the song. Where some may listen to it and think I’m saying money is more important than love, the video depicts a love story that is tainted by greed,” he continued. “Whether its justified or not, is for the people to decide.”
