New mommy, Ciara, released her latest video “I Got You”, featuring baby Future Zahir and it is absolutely adorable! Just in time for her first Mother’s Day (this Sunday), Ciara takes us through her journey of motherhood and how precious she finds this new phase in her life. And of course, Future Zahir will prompt you to smile at your screen.
“This song is very special to me as it’s dedicated to my son,” the 29-year-old R&B singer told PEOPLE Magazine. “I cried in the process of recording [it]. This album truly marks one of the most special times in my life.”
The opening “tailor-made” lullaby part of the song was written by Diane Warren and co-produced along with Harmony Samuels. The “I Bet” singer says it’s her “go-to” song to calm her baby.

CiCi starts the video with her home video of her revealing to her parents of her (at the time) almost 6-month pregnancy. The mainly black-and-white video is a collection of home videos of Ciara and baby Future doing various activities such as playing in his walker down the hallway, sitting with mommy in the studio, and crawling over around on the floor. It’s too cute to not go “Awwww!!” through the entire 4-minute vid.
“I Got You” is off of Ciara’s latest album, Jackie, which is available on iTunes now. Press play on the video up top.
