Eric Bellinger and Ne-Yo instruct us on “dirty dancing” in the latest video for their joint song of the same name. The video premiered on RivNow, which is “home to daily exclusive visuals supporting independent artists and creatives.”
In the colorful video, the Grammy-winning entertainer and songwriter acts as a substitute dance instructor, pink spandex included. His assistant and “HotBox” collaborator Ne-Yo joins in on the fun, proving that you don’t need the club to really get it poppin’ on the dance floor.
The fun and free single was a match made in Heaven, according to Bellinger, who continues his Eazy Call tour on Thursday (4/21) in Atlanta. From the jump, he hoped that the “Ms. Independent” musician would pull through with a feature.
I remember sending the song over to Ne-Yo and just remember hoping he’d jump on it,” said Bellinger of the duo’s latest collabo. “One night he hit me and told me to come by the lab but didn’t say for what. When I walked in he said, ‘Surprise.’ He pressed play and he had recorded his verse for “Dirty Dancing,” I couldn’t believe it!”
