Who says than when your age goes up, the amount of fun you have has to go down? From it looks of it, the 50 and up club knows a thing or two about how to throw a real party. Well, sort of.
British-born Nigerian singer, Alex Boye, decided to throw on some elderly makeup, grab some older pals and school young’ns on how to get down with a playful revamp of Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson’s infectious jam, “Uptown Funk.”
The dancing grannies and gramps make their way through the streets in funky suits and fedoras, flashy cars and mobility scooters before hitting the nightclub stage (a 92-year-young woman hits the splits, y’all). In addition to the lively music video—which closely mimicks the original—Boye’s song is available for purchase on Bandcamp.
