It’s always a treat when your favorite music-makers give their fans two gifts all at once. Simultaneously dropping the track and visual, Swizz Beatz is heating up the game with “25 Soldiers” featuring ATL torchbearer, Young Thug.
Directed by Vincent Lou Film, the visual is set at an abandoned warehouse, where Swizz and Thug find musical haven. Thugger is almost unrecognizable on the actual track, with his rhymes hitting harder and flowing clearer than a number of his releases currently saturating the scene. Swizz, on the other hand, takes the backseat, contributing limited vocals. Consider it his way of letting Thug shine.

With the album less than a month away, “25 Soldiers” marks the second single off Poison. Prior to it’s release, Swizzy stopped by Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio to discuss the making of Poison, as well as open up about his return to the core principles of producing.
“I feel that you must always revisit what people really know you for and show them that you are still a master at that craft, and then take them on a journey where you’re going to go from there,” Swizz told Lowe.
Poison is set to release everywhere Nov. 2. Executively produced by J.Cole, the 10-track project will include features from Kendrick Lamar, Nas, Pusha T and more. Until the full project drops, press play on “25 Soldiers” up top.
