U.K. songstress Lianne La Havas is blessing the mic with a new album called Blood (out today). The Prince co-signee brings her signature smooth grooves and pensive pen game to her second studio effort but did VIBE the honor of performing her breakout hit “Is Your Love Big Enough?” (from the 2012 Is Your Love Big Enough? LP) and the Blood track, “Midnight.”
Since first performing at VIBE HQ in November 2012, La Havas was on the cusp of mainstream success. Now, even as a notable vocalist in today’s soul space, she says she is still striving for excellence.

“I think I want to earn greatness and I’m just at the beginning of this whole journey, really,” La Havas said. “I want to be remembered in 30 years and still be doing it in 30 years. And it’s totally possible. I’m on my way, maybe, to greatness.”
