After scrapping his anticipated sophomore EP, Trap House Jodeci, Rap&B newcomer Ye Ali is back and reminding us why we fell in love with his debut EP, Art x Drugs, last year and “Tingz,” the sleepy yet bouncy number that set the Internet ablaze this summer.
Right in time to close out 2015, Ye announced that his second full-length project now titled Private Suite will drop at the top of 2016. In the meantime, to hold fans over he dropped a dope visual for his latest single “LNF (Late Night Flexxx),” a smooth joint echoing his fondness of ’90s R&B fused with his own distinct cadence that alley oops melodic chorusses and catchy bars for the ultimate ’round midnight jam.
In the Riley Robins-directed visual, viewers journey through a mansion house party brimming with beautiful women, red cups, and guest appearances from PARTYNEXTDOOR and Trinidad James. The Indiana native who now calls L.A. home told VIBE, “It was my producer L8 Show’s birthday. We wanted it to be really crazy so we invited a lot of people out to L.A.” “I don’t go out much so it was my unveiling, showing myself to the city.”
