Trouble seems to follow Amanda Bynes everywhere she goes these days.
A recent In Touch magazine article that claimed the actress was acting up during a trip to a New York City tanning salon, reporting that she was prancing around the facility in the nude. “She didn’t seem to care that everyone saw her naked,” said an alleged witness.
However, Bynes denies the story, telling Us Weekly exclusively, “I’m suing In Touch for printing a fake story. I’m not ‘troubled.’ I don’t get naked in public. I’m 26, a multi-millionaire, retired. Please respect my privacy.”
Security footage and employees confirm that the former child star was not wilding out. “Employee testimony and security footage have confirmed that Ms. Bynes was not acting inappropriately,” Beach Bum Tanning CEO James Oliver tells Us in a statement. “She is a long-time client and we stand by her account.”
Bynes isn’t out of the clear just yet as she faces a DUI charge and two charges of driving on a suspended license. The Easy A starlet pleaded not guilty to two separate counts from a pair of hit-and-run accidents. She faces up to a year in jail if convicted.
