Bankroll Fresh’s posthumous album since his passing four years ago (March 4, 2016) will debut on Wednesday (March 4). In a series of social media posts, the Atlanta native’s sound will continue to live on in the form of a project titled In Bank We Trust.
With a video narrated by his mother Terisa Price, the matriarch explains the mission of the album and keeping her son’s memory alive through the music.
“He talks to me through his music,” she said. “This is due in large part to you, his supporters…These positive expressions of love mean so much to me. They keep me going and I truly appreciate it. My intention in releasing this album, In Bankroll We Trust, four years after my son’s death is to set the tone for his ongoing legacy. As long as his spiritual body operates in harmony, he is still alive, still making his mark on the world, and still carving out a legacy that makes me proud to call him my son.”
At 28, Bankroll Fresh, born Trentavious White, was gunned down in northeast Atlanta. The shooting occurred outside the city’s Street Execs Studio.
