Judy Huth reportely said her interactions with Cosby date back to 1974. Cosby allegedly served alcohol to the then-15-year old and her friend before inviting them to the Playboy Mansion. She claims, there, he sexually molested her and forced her to perform a sexual act on him. Four decades since the incident, Huth could only bring about a civil case to Los Angeles Superior Court in Dec. 2014.
In May, Cosby attempted to stop the case from reaching trial. When the Court of Appeal rejected this petition, Cosby filed another petition to the Supreme Court in June to review the case. The court officially denied his petition yesterday (July 22). The decision forces Cosby to be sworn in and provide a written testimony for trial, which could happen within a month, said Huth’s lawyer Gloria Allred.
Allred told NBC, “We are looking forward to Mr. Cosby answering questions under oath at his deposition and we will continue to seek justice for our courageous client, Judy Huth.”
