Bill Cosby may be looking to clap back at his rape accusers. According to a report by Page Six, the comedian has hired private investigators to “dig up dirt” on the group of women who have alleged that he has taken advantage of them. Models Beverly Johnson and Janice Dickerson are among the latest women to come forward with stories.
Reportedly paying six-figure fees, Cosby’s lawyer, Martin Singer has aided in the process. The investigators have been tasked with finding anything negative in the accusers’ pasts that can be used to discredit them. Multiple sources confirmed to the newspaper that former LAPD detectives at a firm in Glendale, CA have been employed by Cosby.
“You can’t say that I put something in your coffee, threw you in a cab and then you go on and live a high-profile life, a famous life and you never complain,” the source claims Cosby said of Johnson. “You mean you never reported it to the police? You never tell anyone?”
Investigators have allegedly found that Johnson never mentioned an inappropriate encounter with Cosby to a live-in boyfriend of several years. Read the full report here.
