It’s all bad for Bobby.
Bobby Shmurda will remain in jail for the time being. A $2 Million bail package was posted Friday for the “Hot N***a” rapper and was then pulled Wednesday. (Feb. 4)
“It’s our understanding that the suretor has withdrawn and that no hearing is currently scheduled,” Kati Cornell, a spokeswoman for the office of the special narcotics prosecutor for New York City said.
Shmurda’s lawyer, Kenneth Montgomery, confirmed with The New York Times that the bail arrangement had been pulled, but says he is in the process of putting together a new bond application, which will hopefully get done by the end of the week.
The 20 year old Brooklyn rapper was arrested Dec. 17 along with several other members of G29, and charged with multiple counts of conspiracy and weapons possession.
