We all remember where we were, what we were doing, who were with and how we felt when we realized the attacks on the World Trade Center was not a horrible movie we were all watching, but it was in fact real life. It’s been 13 years since America saw the buildings fall and and despite how much time has passed, for a lot of people it will always feels like yesterday. Watch President Barack Obama, the first lady and the vice-president offer a moment of silence for all those lost on Sept. 11, along with the many celebrities who too took to Twitter to also pay their respects.
Thinking all day about the day that changed us 4ever. Our strength our courage and how through all the pain…LOVE remains. #911anniversary

There’s a Tibetan saying, “Tragedy should be utilized as a source of strength”. If we lose hope, that’s our real disaster. #911anniversary
