Seems like Kanye West’s shocking (well, not-so-shocking) outburst at last night’s VMA’s has flamed the reactions of other celebs.
In a blog posted today, singer Kelly Clarkson asked ‘Ye, “What happened to you as a child?? Did you not get hugged enough?? Something must have happened to make you this way and I think we’re all just curious as to what would make a grown man go on national television and make a talented artist, let alone teenager, feel like shit.”
“I mean, I’ve seen you do some pretty shitty things, but you just keep amazing me with your tactless, asshole ways,” she continued. “Taylor Swift, you outsell him …that’s why he’s bitter.”
On Ryan Seacrest’s radio show, VMA host Russell Brand defended Kanye’s outburst, which later led to the rapper/producer being kicked out of the ceremony and later apologizing on his blog. “We’re all people; these things are a bit silly,” Brand said. “Calm down, no one died, it’s alright.”
Not too many people agreed. Singer Pink got loose on ‘Ye via Twitter. “Kanye West is the biggest piece of shit on earth. Quote me,” Pink wrote. “My heart goes out to Taylor Swift. She is a sweet and talented girl and deserved her moment. She should know we all love her. Beyonce is a classy lady. I feel for her, too. It’s not her fault at all, and her and Taylor did their thing. And douche bag got kicked out.”
Katy Perry and DJ Whoo Kid kept their disgust brief. “”Fuck u Kanye,” Perry tweeted. “It’s like you stepped on a kitten.”
Adds Whoo Kid, “I HATE BOBBY BROWN and I HATE KANYE.”
“How could you be so heartless [Kanye]?” American Idol’s Danny Gokey joked.
