Kesha has found support in a slew of artists after her preliminary injunction in her case against the longtime producer and alleged abuser Dr. Luke was denied on Friday, leaving her stuck in her music contract with Sony Record.
The singer filed the suit in 2014, claiming she was mentally, physically and emotionally abused by her longtime producer since she was 18 years old. Luke, real name Lukasz Sebastian Gottwald, countersued the singer calling her allegations false and stated her claims are just a way to get out her six-album contract with Sony.

Kesha was seen sobbing in court on Friday (Feb. 19) as Manhattan Supreme Court Judge Shirley Werner Kornreich denied her request due to contract with the label. Representatives from Sony, however, have told the court the singer will be allowed to work with other producers, but didn’t dishevel the notion in full detail. Kesha’s lawyers are worried that the label will do less to promote any work she decides to do with another producer and ultimately believes her career would be over if she stays at the label.
After the news spread of the singer’s troubling case, artists like Lady Gaga, Brandy, Ariana Grande and longtime Dr. Luke collaborator Kelly Clarkson sent their love and prayers to the singer with the hashtag, #FreeKesha.
There are people all over the world who love you @KeshaRose. And I can say truly I am in awe of your bravery.
