Chrissy Teigen and John Legend took their love to another level over the weekend when they teamed up to defend the late Muhammad Ali by bashing troll and former respected journalist Piers Morgan.
The roast session happened Sunday (June 5) when Morgan, the current US editor at large of MailOnline, claimed the late athlete was more racist than current presumptive Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump. Morgan’s comments about Ali prompted a brutal and honest responses from Chris Brown and later a much-needed takedown from Teigen and Legend.
Muhammad Ali said far more inflammatory/racist things about white people than Donald Trump ever has about Muslims. #fact

Why sugar-coat what Ali said or stood for? He never did that to himself, or when speaking of others.

I hope people don't make me sound too perfect when I die.

Enticed by the attention, Morgan attempted to milk the situation with his op-ed on Ali and Trump. Luckily, Teigen and everyone else just happened to be over it.

We’re sure this isn’t the last time Morgan will exploit a tragedy, but at least we have Legend and Teigen to hit him where it hurts.
