Ciara took to Twitter to record a message to the women of the world who participated in the Women’s March on Jan. 21. The message was relayed by her husband, Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, and her son Future.
“Sweet message from my boys #WomensEquality,” she captioned the video. The two-year-old and his step father are seen sitting at a table in a restaurant, where they say “all the women deserve to be treated equal” in unison.
Ciara continues to coach her son on what to say throughout the video. “You have our support ladies,” he says after his mom, while Wilson says “from Little Future and Russell,” which the toddler also repeats. Afterwards, Ciara tries to get Future to say “peace!” to the camera, but the two-year-old makes silly faces instead. Gotta love kids!
AP reports that an estimated 500,000 people at the Women’s March on Washington, coupled with an estimated total of one million people around the globe marched in solidarity to protest the Presidency of Donald Trump. It’s the largest inaugural protest in American history.
