Whether you’re a dancing machine or you’ve got a left foot attached to both ankles, you can be a part of the legendary Soul Train videos.
Soul Train and JibJam Media have collaborated to allow Internet users to insert themselves into vintage dance clips.
Using JibJab’s “Starring You” technology, users can upload headshots to be tacked onto the domes of grooving dancers. There are seventeen videos available for fans’ boogying.
“There was a time when Soul Train was the definitive place to learn to dance,” said Xochil Arkin, Soul Train’s Head of Business Development. “We are thrilled to be working with JibJab and look forward to introducing Soul Train’s old school moves to a brand new audience.”
JibJab, a leader in digital greeting cards, gained popularity during the 2004 presidential race with it’s parody of presidential George Bush and John Kerry singing “This Land is Your Land.” The clip attracted 80 million viewers.
