There’s no stopping Curren$y from cooking up massive amounts of fresh music. After dropping four mixtapes last year, the NOLA native is already laser focused on releasing his ninth studio album in the Spring. Earlier this week, Spitta posted the official album cover and title on Instagram with the intended release date in the caption.
Back At Burnie’s the sequel to his 2011 LP Weekend At Burnie’s, which was primarily produced by Monsta Beats with Rahki on the lead single “#JetsGo.” Curren$y rapped alongside his Jet Life cohorts Fiend, Young Roddy and Trademark da Skydiver. However, since Trademark left the indie label, Curren$y has room to invite new guests on the upcoming album.
After teaming up with Lex Luger for The Motivational EP, Curren$y dropped off two singles produced by Monsta Beats that may appear on Back At Burnie’s. In the finals days of 2017, the Jet Life chief dropped “On Range” and his fresh stoner anthem “Moonlight” featuring Cornerboy P and Young Roddy. Look out for Curren$y’s first project of 2018 to drop March 16th.
