Dave Chappelle joined the people of Dayton, Ohio Sunday (Jan. 29) to protest Trump’s implementation of the Muslim Ban, which will bar immigrants from coming to the United States from seven predominantly Muslim nations. The 43-year-old comic converted to Islam in 1998, and began his monologue jokingly saying, “Donald Trump, wherever you are, I am begging you! Stop ruining my Sundays.”
Chappelle continued with, “We are all here because what you are doing does not seem right. As a matter of fact, it sucks. I support refugees, I support immigrants, and I love my friends and neighbors. Thank you.”
